As part of the registration process, each child or young person is visited at home so that we can fully ascertain their situation. Some of our children are orphaned, abandoned or estranged from their parents. Others are at risk of abuse or exploitation. Moreover, each child or young person lives in extreme poverty, often forgoing meals because their families are unable to afford basic necessities.
